Una amministrazione comunale ha il dovere di esprimere preoccupazione sul non adeguato funzionamento dei servizi, soprattutto quelli socio sanitari, ed ha il dovere di proporre progetti, servizi e sollecitazioni vere che abbiano al centro gli interessi generali e le esigenze dei cittadini che rappresenta.
E' in questa ottica che plaudiamo all'iniziativa intrapresa dalla Amministrazione Comunale di Castelnuovo Garfagnana, dal Sindaco Bonaldi e dalla commissione consiliare sanità che in questi mesi hanno fortemente lavorato, non solo denunciando i disservizi presenti nei reparti ospedalieri e nei servizi territoriali, ma anche e soprattutto, e sempre con spirito costruttivo e propositivo, hanno proposto ipotesi di soluzioni e percorsi, frall'altro condivisi sia in Conferenza dei Sindaci, che con la stessa direzione aziendale USL 2 Lucca; proposte tese ad incidere sostanzialmente sulla funzionalità degli stessi anche alla luce degli ingenti investimenti

soprattutto strutturali che sono stati realizzati negli anni.
Tutte le questioni affrontate nella nota del Comune di Castelnuovo denunciano lo stato dell'arte della situazione all'Ospedale S.Croce; la mancanza di personale medico, paramedico ed infermieristico ha di fatto rallentato enormemente gli interventi chirurgici, ortopedici, e diagnostici allungando i tempi di attesa dei cittadini.
Dalla diagnostica, (si pensi alla radiologia), alla cardiologia, alla carenza di anestesisti, di personale medico e paramedico del pronto soccorso, alle visite specialistiche soprattutto per alcune branche, al servizio di assistenza domiciliare socio sanitaria integrata 12 ore al giorno 7 giorni su 7 che non è ancora partito nonostante gli ingenti investimenti destinati con i fondi della montagna degli ultimi anni, la chiusura degli ambulatori ostetrico- ginecologico e la netta riduzione oraria dell'ambulatorio pediatrico, sono tutte questioni che stanno creando non pochi disagi alla popolazione della Garfagnana, che non possono essere considerate mere strumentalizzazioni e che invece sono realmente finalizzate ad affrontare seriamente e concretamente i problemi che sono presenti all'interno dei servizi sanitari.
Con senso di grande responsabilità e avendo come orizzonte gli interessi generali e i bisogni dei cittadini, è dovere di ogni istituzione pubblica richiedere interventi urgenti che rispondano ad esigenze urgenti in un momento nel quale, ormai giunti al termine dei lavori di ristrutturazione dell'ospedale S. Croce, occorre ridefinire una organizzazione dei servizi all'interno della struttura ospedaliera che sappia dare risposte moderne e appropriate.
In questa direzione va la richiesta di collocare l'hospice fuori dall'ospedale, come frall'altro la stessa ASL ha sempre ipotizzato, e perciò di riorganizzare i vari reparti ospedalieri nella direzione di una loro maggiore funzionalità, efficienza ed efficacia, evidenziando che in realtà di queste dimensioni la sperimentazione del week surgery non ha dato i risultati attesi e quindi proponendo una sua completa rivisitazione.

In primo luogo non posso non ringraziare i pluricitati ed ormai famosi “turisti senesi” per le questioni da loro citate, prive di condanna, ma con l'intento di far prendere coscienza di alcune problematiche.
E' quantomeno palese la mia posizione di totale disaccordo con le espressioni utilizzate dal rappresentante di AG, Biagioni Luca, che con le parole “disinteresse” e “incompetenza” accusa senza ritegno e fondata ragione il lavoro quotidiano dell'amministrazione comunale, degli operatori ecologici e del corpo dei vigili urbani.
Leggendo le varie opinioni sorte a mezzo stampa sulla questione, non posso non sottolineare il tentativo di stigmatizzazione cieca che coglie gli “illustri” opinionisti.
Non essendo ipocrita non posso negare alcune defezioni a riguardo dell'arredo urbano, ma trovo inconcepibile ingigantire punti su cui, l'amministrazione comunale in primis, svolge operazioni di controllo, manutenzione e pulizia.
Stiamo dimenticando che il decoro urbano, il senso della “cosa pubblica”, sono doveri anche nostri, di tutti i cittadini, ed incolpare l'amministrazione o il corpo dei vigili per le molteplici auto in sosta vietata lo trovo a dir poco ridicolo; chi di dovere, pur con risorse e personale forse esiguo in proporzione al proprio compito, “lottano” costantemente per il rispetto delle norme sia civili che di buon senso.
Quello che chiedo ai lettori è una semplice ma importante presa di coscienza vera, priva di estremismi dovuti a bandiere di partito, che dev'essere critica e propositiva nel rispetto del lavoro ed impegno altrui.
