I CORSI sono aperti a direttori senza limiti di età e nazionalità, a musicisti (strumentisti, compositori, operatori musicali, insegnanti ... ) e studenti che già si occupino, a qualsiasi livello, di direzione e sentano l'esigenza di migliorare il proprio bagaglio tecnico-gestuale e le proprie capacità di studio delle partiture e di gestione delle prove. Al termine dei corsi verrà rilasciato un diploma di frequenza.

1. CURRENT TECHNICAL

The course is divided into 10 lessons every two weeks, starting 17 January 2010.

2. PROFESSIONAL COURSE
It is aimed at those who already have knowledge of orchestration and musical analysis, seek to further the study of conducting moving toward a profile of educational improvement, also in the preparation competitions and the opening of a professional activity. Will be dealt with scores of even complex symphonic repertoire (compositions by Mozart, Beethoven, Strauss, Stravinsky, Verdi, Puccini ...). The detailed program will be provided to participants upon registration and may be supplemented in relation to interest or personal needs, with particular emphasis on biennalizzazione triennalizzazione or the course. Classes are divided into two monthly meetings, which will be held from January 17, 2010, for a total of 10 lessons. In four of these meetings will be the orchestra for the exercises. The best students will be selected for inclusion in the concert series of the Symphony Orchestra of the lake.

FINAL CONCERT
The best students of professional courses will have the opportunity to direct a public concert with the Mihail Jora Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacau. On this occasion the students will be awarded the degrees of frequency. The State Philharmonic Orchestra "Mihail Jora" of Bacau, in agreement with the artistic director, reserves the right to invite the best students for a production during the 2010/2011 season.

ELIGIBILITY
The technique course, as an introduction to conducting, is open to all and does not require possession of special qualifications. For professional courses, providing a maximum number of regular students, we will refer to the order of presentation of applications for registration, you will also have a preliminary discussion which will serve to assess the degree of musical training (previous studies, qualifications, experience etc.).. It 'also allowed to attend courses as auditors.

Having completed his musical education in Milan, Geneva and Berlin, and MasterClasses with Janos Fürst and Yuri Simonov, has been winning competitions International Mürzzuschlag (Competition "Brahms"), Florence ("ORT Orchestra Della Toscana") and St. Petersburg (Competition Prokofiev). After his debut in Milan's Carmen Bizet, nel 1992 lavora con Peter Maag per la produzione de Il turco in Italia di Rossini e Lucia di Lammermoor di Donizetti al Teatro Comunale di Treviso e collabora a stages sull’opera italiana con Joan Sutherland e Regina Resnik. In seguito diviene assistente di Richard Bonynge. Nel corso della sua attività ha diretto formazioni quali ORT-Orchestra della Toscana, I Pomeriggi musicali di Milano, Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, Filarmonia Veneta, Angelicum, Orchestra Mozart e Milano, Orchestra Sinfonica di Savona, Coro Filarmonico di Milano, Orchestra Festival Mozart, Orchestra Stabile di Como, Bach Collegium Stuttgart & Gächinger Kantorei, Leningrad Philarmonic Orchestra, New Irish Chamber Orchestra, Steirisches Symphonie Orchester, Solisten des Festspielhauses Bayreuth, Berliner Symphoniker, Orchestre des Jeunes de la Communauté française de Belgique, Glinka Chapel St. Petersburg, Mediterranean Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra "Oltenia" - Craiova, and at festivals such as Asolo Musica, Festival des Nuits de Joux, in Music Our Time, Autumn Music in Como, Milan's Concert Society. Since 2001 he is Artistic Director of Orchestral and chief conductor of the Lake Symphony Orchestra, the guidance that has directed more than 70 concerts with symphonic programs of broad and made an engraving dedicated to concerts of Mercadante and a DVD with Requiem Mozart. With reference to his studies on Italian opera, he has worked con riviste musicali quali Le petit Figaro dell'Opéra di Liegi e L'ErbaMusica (Laboratorio di Musicologia applicata di Milano). Ha tenuto conferenze sul melodramma italiano e pubblicato due studi nel volume Guide des opéras de Mozart (Fayard-Paris). Dal 1997 tiene corsi annuali di direzione d'orchestra presso la Nuova Scuola di Musica di Cantù, con la collaborazione dell'Orchestra Sinfonica del Lario, dell'Orchestra Filarmonica di Craiova e dell'Orchestra Filarmonica di Bacau. Dal 2001 è stato direttore musicale stabile delle produzioni orchestrali del Festival Autunno Musicale a Como; di particolare rilievo le annuali inaugurazioni con l'Orchestra Barocca del Festival. Nel 2002 ha instaurato un'intensa collaborazione con l'Orchestra Sinfonica Cairo, with whom he has performed concerts at the Cairo Opera House and the Festival of Alexandria. Since 2004 he is chief conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Milan and chief conductor of the opera season of the Teatro delle Erbe in Milan, in which he conducted Madama Butterfly, La Boheme and Tosca by Puccini, Bellini's Norma, Rigoletto, La Traviata , Trovatore and Un Ballo in Maschera by Verdi, Rossini's Barber of Seville. Elisir d'amore by Donizetti and Mozart's Cosi fan tutte.
