Dopo aver letto su Nuovo Orione un articolo relativo alla ricerca su meteore e fenomeni luminosi transitori, scritto da un socio del IMTN - Italian Meteor and Tle network, ho deciso di attrezzarmi per poter partecipare anche io a questo tipo di ricerca.
In effetti, il lavoro collegato a questa attivita' e' abbastanza semplice.... si tratta di installare una apposita telecamera in una postazione possibilmente fissa per riprendere il cielo notturno, e, tramite un apposito software ( http://sonotaco.com/e_index.html ) registrare i fenomeni luminosi per elaborarli successivamente per determinare traiettorie ed eventualmente l'orbita delle meteore (tramite triangolazione con i dati di altri osservatori).

Nonostante questo handicap, che riduce sostanzialmente le ore di ripresa, sono gia' riuscito a catturare alcuni filmati di meteore ed elaborarli per la determinazione delle triettorie, nonche' alcuni satelliti (forse la Iss e qualche Iridium).

Qui si possono vedere in basso a destra e sinistra gli effetti dell'umidita' e del ghiaccio.
Qui, invece, si puo' anche riconoscere la costellazione di Orione.
